A. A home study/licensure, specific training, applicants must be at least 21, and background checks are required.
A. Employment outside of the home is acceptable. Daycare reimbursement is provided.
A. Foster parents receive a reimbursement in the form of a maintenance payment set to the age and needs of the child. Medical needs are covered by Medicaid.
A. Foster parents may be eligible to adopt a child if reunification with the biological parents and relatives are ruled out. There must be a termination of parental rights already issued by the courts. Foster parents must be in support of reunification with the natural family until that permanency goal is completely ruled out.
